Happy New Years, everyone! Hope you are doing well, and if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere like me, you’re probably dealing with the cold. It’s around -30C where I live, so I’ve been firmly indoors with some good books and writing work. That was my attempt at a segue. Anywho, here’s the Writing Roundup of January stuff!
OOZE: Little Bursts of Body Horror, edited by Ruth Anna Evans had the TOC announcement and comes out in March. This is the first time I’ve been invited to write for an anthology, and I’m over the moon!
The audiobook for Inside Out is now available, and it rules. Nick did a fabulous job!
Excited to announce I’ve signed with Hear Us Scream Press to publish my queer cosmic horror novella, COSMIC DYKE PATROL, this Fall!
Sean and J.P of the HorrorObsessive crew chatted with me about my book and The Blob remake, plus you can definitely hear my cat wandering around in the audio.
Both the Lost in Cult and Ghoulish Books crowdfunding campaigns (I am featured in both!!) did amazingly well. Be sure to keep an eye on their social media accounts for updates! BOUND IN FLESH: AN ANTHOLOGY OF TRANS BODY HORROR is now available for e-ARC reviews, so feel free to email me (gislason.laura.m @ gmail) if you’re a book blogger and would like a copy!
Finally,, Eric Raglin and Shelley Lavigne and I have finished work on our short story collection SICK! Stories From The Goop Troop turned out delightfully disgusting. Will announce the release date ASAP!
I think that’s everything! I have a few articles coming out in February, so I’ll see you for next month’s update 🙂 Thanks for sticking with me. ❤
